IGGPRA will kick off its 2018 Practical Grape Growing Seminar Series with “Pruning & Planning: Starting the growing season right.” The meeting will feature pruning demonstrations for head-trained and trellised vines, and important things you need to know about crop insurance. The deadline to apply for crop insurance is January 31, 2018 so don’t miss this great opportunity to find out what you need to know before the deadline passes.

Kelly Mitchell of Mitchell Insurance Services will provide vital information on insurance rules, costs and payouts for the upcoming year. John Anderson of St. Hilaire Vineyard will lead the head-trained pruning demonstration and IGGPRA president and owner of Precision Ag Consulting – Lowell Zelinski, Ph.D. – will lead the trellised vine segment.
